3. Program setting items:
Battery type: Li-xx (lithium battery) / Ni-xx (nickel-cadmium or nickel-hydrogen), the default value is Li-xx (lithium battery).
Low voltage protection mode: reduce the power / turn off the output, the default value is to reduce the power.
Low voltage protection threshold: low / medium / high, the default value is medium cut-off voltage.
When the Li-xx battery is set to be used, the number of lithium batteries is automatically determined. The cut-off voltage of each battery under low / medium / high conditions is 2.6V, 2.85V, 3.1V.
When set to use Ni-xx batteries, the voltage of the battery pack is automatically detected when the ESC is powered on. The low / medium / high cut-off voltage is 0%, 45%, 60% of the input voltage at startup (0% means Do not do low-voltage protection)
Start mode: normal / soft / super soft start, the default is normal start.
Normal start is suitable for fixed wing, can start the motor quickly in 0.2 seconds
Soft start / super soft start is suitable for helicopters; the initial speed of soft start and super soft start is relatively low, it takes 1 second and 2 seconds respectively from start to full speed, but if the throttle is closed after start, it will start again within 3 seconds They are all started in normal mode to avoid crashing due to slow response when doing some aerobatics.
Angle of advance: low / medium / high, the default is medium angle of advance.
In general, a low-advance angle can accommodate more motors, but to improve efficiency, it is recommended to use a low-advance angle for 2-pole motors and a medium-advance angle for motors with more than 6 poles. To increase the speed, you can set the advancing angle to a high advancing angle. After improving the angle settings, the test should be conducted on the ground before flying.

B B means LIPO automatic protection
BB BB means NIMH / NICD automatic protection
BBB BBB means brake selection
(When there is no operation, all sounds will continue to cycle until there is an operation request.)
There are settings you want during the sound cycle. When you hear the first syllable of the prompt sound (such as selecting LIPO automatic protection, when you hear a B, the throttle is pulled to the lowest position), you can quickly pull the throttle to the lowest position. At the same time, the motor will make a very sharp sound to confirm.
At this time, if there are other settings, quickly push the throttle to the maximum, you can make the next option.
If the setting you want is completed, wait for 2 seconds, the motor will issue a proper battery protection confirmation sound again, and you can use it after confirming the throttle position.
LIPO automatic protection has only 2 protection voltage protection points, namely 6V and 9V, and the battery can use unnecessary fully charged batteries.
NIMH automatic protection is calculated according to the actual number of batteries, each battery is set to 0.8V, in order to accurately determine the battery voltage, please fully charge the battery. If it is not full, the ESC will estimate the protection voltage according to the voltage of 70%. (This function can also be used when using 4LIPO)
The factory setting is none. The brake setting operation can be done once during actual use, so that the motor uses the back electromotive force to brake after closing the throttle.
If you want to release this brake function, you can set the brake operation again, then the function is canceled.
Factory parameter reset function, because this series of ESC has overheating and misoperation protection function, if you find any characteristics of your ESC acceleration, or steering, or throttle curve and how it changes in new time, you can do it once Factory parameter settings to regain maximum performance.
The boot is a long beep of B, indicating that the ESC is in the LIPO automatic protection state, and the BBB three sounds indicate the NIMH / NICD automatic protection state.
